Looking Within, Looking Ahead
In the last post, I pointed out that art rarely captures moments of childhood contemplation…and asked where children could really discover themselves at school…and linked to my answer (the bathroom!)…but then forgot to include a piece of art that beautifully captures all of these themes: Melissa Ann Pinney’s “Portrait of Jael” (2022).
